DEAN ICHIKAWA
My experience as an Instructional Designer, Multimedia, Web, and Graphic Designer started with a mid-sized bank based in Silicon Valley many, many moons ago, and since then I’ve had the good fortune to work for a long list of great tech companies, including Apple, Applied Materials, and LinkedIn.
Currently, I work as a Learning Experience Designer on Live Nation’s compliance team, building online courses to empower employees to execute the parameters set by our policies. I work to make our courses concise, interactive, with scenarios for context, but without confusing multiple choice questions. I reworked our localization process to shave weeks off of the production time and deliver projects ahead of schedule.
In my spare time, I work on my photography hobby, and together with Chanya work on small projects, and raise our daughter and 15-year-old puppy. I also enjoy running as a way to free my mind of daily stresses and to explore new places I’ve never been to before.

CHANYA ICHIKAWA
Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, I bring a different perspective, culture, and language to our offerings. I’ve recently worked to serve seniors who need care at an assisted living facility, and then transitioned to a work-from-home opportunity doing work for a small company to create Vyond videos. I’m now focused on creating drawings and graphics with Illustrator.
In my spare time, I enjoy going for walks, yoga, and keeping in touch with the Thai culture.
